ThisIsTheDay
We will have a young man housesitting (19, not too young!) and want to leave some easy meals for him that are semi-healthy and not expensive. He eats anything. :D I don't have to "feed" him, but I'd like to leave him with some options instead of fending completely for himself. What would you have on hand for him? So far, I'm planning on cold cuts and other sandwich fillings, premade breakfast burritos, bbq pork and buns, salad options, and perhaps a gift card with a free pizza, along with desserts/snacks. Thank you for your ideas.
Joyofsixreboot
I'm house sitting for you! How about lasagna or a pasta dish.
Pippen
I'd just ask right out what he likes to eat. Homemade lasagne and Bob Evans Mac & Cheese are hits with my teens.
Spryte
As a teen, my Smom used to leave manicotti - I loved it! Pasta dishes were great ... They were "real" food, but comfort food too. How about frozen stuff? Our older kiddo went through a frozen Taquito phase - big boxes from Costco.

ThisIsTheDay
I'd just ask right out what he likes to eat. Tried that, and I got, "Anything." LOL. Thanks for the suggestions; keep them coming! I'm writing down several ideas, and I know he will appreciate your input too. :D or :lurk5:. ;)
