Luanne Posted February 27, 2012 Share Posted February 27, 2012 Sickness seems to be so bad this year. I'll start by saying my daughter and I live with my parents. We have had the flu and colds all around more than once this year. Right now three of the four of us are getting over the flu (not stomach this time, thank goodness) and the other one is getting over a cold. We've had a good month with not much sickness (except for my never ending cold) so I'm hoping that we are getting past it. I spent all weekend in bed again. I was sick on Halloween, sick the week before Christmas, on Valentines day. One kid had the stomach flu a couple weeks ago, but no one else caught it (hooray). It's been circulating yuck for a few months here! My youngest developed pneumonia out of it. Honestly, I feel like I have been hit by a mack truck and cannot wait for February to end! We haven't been out all that much, so we haven't been hit with any *terrible* bugs, but my 10 week old baby has already had two colds (the first at 3 weeks). We have been on the verge of getting sick or actually sick or recovering from something since before Christmas. And I have several friends who got some virus going around and were out for almost a month with bronchitis and laryngitis and every other itis and are just now starting to feel better.
