Iucounu
I've never heard of anyone else playing Up and Down the River. We played that with my grandparents a lot. We played it as Oh, Hell.
BlsdMama
Right now Settlers of Catan is the game in our home. :iagree: And we really enjoy the Cities and Knights add on. :)

AngieW in Texas
I LOVE Forbidden Island. It's the only cooperative game we have and it's a lot of fun. http://www.amazon.com/Gamewright-317-Forbidden-Island/dp/B003D7F4YY Castle Keep and Sleeping Queens are also fun games. We tend to do well with Gamewright games.
Rubix
For kids - Sequence Jr Operation (Buzz Lightyear) The Farming Game - Kids They like chuttes & ladders, candyland, and the hungry caterpillar game but those all drive me nuts. Connect 4 For adults - Skippity (a colorful version of a game kind of like checkers) The Farming Game Redneck Life Dicecapades Gold Mine Trivial Pursuit - Bet you know it (the betting aspect makes it fun for people who don't know the trivia answers) Portrayal (describe wacky pictures for other people to draw) Rack-O
Cara in Ky
We are a big game family, but most of our games involve cards (ie horse, shanghi, spoons, etc). We do love gestures, taboo, and scattagories. One that I haven't seen on here (or missed) is Scrabble. My kids love to play Scrabble and it is a great educational game. stephanier.1765
My kids never tire of Spy Alley and we've had that game for years. All our family game nights start and end with it.
