Pster
....(other than my swimsuit) - can I wear shorts? and they'll let me do the slides and everything "in" them? Do people actually do that? I'd just feel more comfortable in my suit & some kind of swim-shorts than just in a swimsuit - though I'm sure the norm is just a suit and I'm just being silly. hopefully I can find something at target .... ckmommyof3
I would call the waterpark and see what is allowed on the slides. If you are looking for a new suit, I have seen some cute women's swimwear that have "boy" type shorts.
elegantlion
You might want to check the park rules, some are pretty strict. I know our local small water park doesn't want people wearing regular shorts or t-shirts. They do have some cute board shorts out now for women. Good luck in your pursuit. Unicorn.
Yep, I always wear shorts over my swimsuit. Actually, it's a men's bathing suit (solid color), and I cut out the inner lining. Since it is a bathing suit, it doesn't break any rules. Those rules are mostly to keep people from wearing cut-offs, because the strings can clog drains. Have fun! clwcain
Whatever you do wear, don't wear stiletto heels. ;)
happyWImom
I have been wearing my maternity suit for YEARS-my youngest is almost 5. But it's a very cute, black suit and I figure that no one knows me when I wear it, so what if they think I'm pregnant. I hate my legs!!!!! Part-Time Homeschooler
Dd and I always wear boys' swim shorts over our one-piece bathing suits at water parks and it's never been a problem. Like the other posters suggested, I would give the park a call and see what their rules are. Have fun!!
HollyDay
Our park wont allow any street clothes or zippers. Dd has an LLBrean wave body suit (short sleeves and shorts) but it has a front zipper and they wouldnt allow it! I'd look at a skirt or short swim suit addition. I just ordered my other dd one from Landsend. Cute and fits over her suit.
Tarheel Heather
:lol::lol: Whatever you do wear, don't wear stiletto heels. ;)
K-FL
As long as it doesn't have zippers or rivets, you should be fine. I always wear them & have talked to other women that do too due to the friction wearing out the seat of their suit! Bring on the stiletto heels! :tongue_smilie:
