?? Use of public libraries on out of state extended trips...

Well, you're going to have a residence, right? So I think you could get a library card. You just have to show proof of residence, not your tax record. ;) Regardless, most California libraries allow patrons to use computers and whatnot without a library card. (YMMV.)

Well...I won't have a utility bill or anything. I'll have a renters agreement and that is about it.

We're a Library-loving family, and seek out the libraries where we vacation.

 

I heartily recommend it--kids' programs, Internet access, DVDs and books.

 

It's a FREE family activity, and oftentimes you can meet interesting locals as well.

 

It also made me appreciate our hometown library much more!
