Wabi Sabi
Clearly we need to do some more review on this lesson, but it made me giggle nonetheless. Yes, I have the sense of humor of an adolescent, LOL. Ds, of course, has no idea why I keep laughing. Disclaimer: don't click on the photo if you're easily offended by accidental mild foul language! https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/387758_2699476447943_1287601874_33033116_195251739_n.jpg Edited November 26, 2011 by Wabi Sabi
cin
I can so see my youngest doing that. Her comprehension of phonics is less than stellar. :D
KungFuPanda
That is hysterical! Does it ever take you a few minutes just to figure out what some of those pictures are supposed to be? My kids LOVED giggling at the ETC 'art'.
LaxMom
I think we had a similar funny in one of the earlier books! They boys just started 3 1/2. I'll be on the lookout for that one!

My kids LOVED giggling at the ETC 'art'. THANK YOU! What the heck is up with their weird art?!?!?! I think it was book 2 or maybe 3 that had "hunt". The dude was walking around with his finger pointed out. :001_huh:
JudoMom
 My 4th son, who struggles with the "r" sound, was supposed to write "shirt" on a phonics page last year, only he left the "r" out. I came across the page recently and laughed again.
Farrar
I swear, something like this happens to me with ETC at least once a week. I don't know about the kids, but it's part of why *I* enjoy the program so much.
nono
Nice penmanship, and I didn't see any foul language. ;)
PhotoGal
Hee hee. I remember when I was a teacher I had to be very careful when talking about rhyming words that end in "-uck" or "-it". :D
Wabi Sabi
Hee hee. I remember when I was a teacher I had to be very careful when talking about rhyming words that end in "-uck" or "-it". :D Ha. My ds attended public school kindergarten for one semester last year. He came home and said, "We were rhyming -uck words today like truck and duck, but Mr. So and So said we weren't allowed to use F!" He still talks about that day, LOL.
