Multiple books...

Recommended Posts

In the last 24 hours, I've seen my daughter reading:

Dragon Slippers, by Jessica Day George,

Return to Howliday Inn, by James Howe

Moominland Midwinter, by Tove Jansson, and

If You Lived at the Time of the American Revolution, by Kay Moore.

That's not even counting the other books scattered across her room with a place marked: Poppy by Avi, various Secrets of Droon books, Calvin and Hobbes. To the best of my knowledge, those haven't been in the last 24 hours.

I think I've found the kid the Sonlight lesson plans were invented for. :tongue_smilie: Anyone else's kid prefer to read multiple books at once?

1-2 in the bathroom

4 on my nightstand

1 in my purse

1 on my dresser

2 on shelf in hallway

and those are the ones 'on the go' that I can think of off the top of my head. Not to mention the magazines that are partly read (about 10 diff ones in the bathroom)

Oh, they're not all the same genre! Not even close, though the majority are science fiction.
