leeannpal
Seems in poor taste to me since the creator of the Family Circus cartoon just died.

MeaganS
Fun. My favorite one of these is Garfield Minus Garfield. Basically, you just take Garfield out of the comic and it is a depressing life of John. I love it. http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/
Jane in NC
Seems in poor taste to me since the creator of the Family Circus cartoon just died. Oh my word! I had no idea that Bill Keane just died. It was not my intention to offend.
MeaganS
Oh my word! I had no idea that Bill Keane just died. It was not my intention to offend. I don't think it is offensive. It would be like making fun of iPods when Steve Jobs died. Not a big deal.
leeannpal
 Nietzsche is not just a bit controversial. "Friedrich Nietzsche is notable for having declared that God is dead and for having written several of his works in the presumption that man must find a new mode of being given the death of God. http://articles.latimes.com/1996-02-17/local/me-37061_1_religious-humor Bil Keane is well-known as a Christian. For that reason, especially today, I think this post is in poor taste. AvasMom
It is not in poor taste. The OP didn't know. Let it go. *sigh*
MeaganS
OK, I get that. I don't agree that it is offensive, but I could see how some could construe it as such. I didn't make the connection about Nietzsche. You should still check out Garfield Minus Garfield. The creator of Garfield has said that even he thinks it is funny, so no offense there. :)

kalanamak
Seems in poor taste to me since the creator of the Family Circus cartoon just died. I'm sure he'd love the attention. One doesn't put oneself out day after day because you don't want people to look at your work. I thought it was fab. Oh the human mind that can make two old things one new one, and improve on both at the same time.
