RegGuheert
If you are looking for this for Christmas, that seems like a pretty good deal! Link. The 16GB and 32GB versions are sold out right now.
Outdoorsy Type
I've been eyeing it for the last few days... would I regret *not* getting an Ipad 2? My laptop (used for fun) is dying and I don't have an e-reader, so I think I would get a lot of use out of an Ipad school and general reading. JulieH
I wish it was an ipad 2!! I was going to grab it!
acurtis75
The only difference between the iPad & ipad2 is the camera. They have ipad2's for sale also. The refurbished ones come with same warranty as new ones.
cloversandlions
We have an iPad1 and an iPad2; other than the camera (which dd doesn't use very much, surprisingly), the only noticeable difference is the size/weight - the 2 is lighter and thinner. There are a few apps requiring the camera that will not be available to the iPad1. As far as using them, though, they both seem perfectly fine - I can't really tell the difference other than the camera and the size.
jelbe5
That is a good deal for those of you on the fence! We paid $425 for our 32G back in March when the iPad 2 rolled out and the prices on the refurbished first generations dropped. We are very happy with our first generation! RegGuheert
I thought I had settled on the iPad 2 for the younger children for Christmas, but in the end the cost was just more than I could justify. The children have been figuring that would be the case and so I've been getting a couple of requests for iPod Touches for Christmas. :001_smile: Anyway, I decided I probably can't beat this deal, so they won't be getting iPods for Christmas. ;) Thanks for the product reviews on the original iPads! nukeswife
I got one of those in Aug, we have an ipad2 also, so I got the refurbed Ipad 1 for them because our Ipad2 is only 32GB and they love it. I can fit lots of movies on it for them and all their apps. I now have exclusive ownership of the Ipad2. I don't think you can go wrong with it since like mentioned the only big difference is the lack of cameras on the Ipad1.
Excelsior! Academy
:drool5:I've been wanting to get the children one for school. This might make it affordable.

stephanier.1765
Thanks for the tip. I ordered one and it's already on its way. Yay! That saves me a $100 since I was planning on buying the cheapest iPad2 plus now there will be more storage. Win, win.
