I didn't get a shipping notice yet, but when I checked the status of my order I got this: Order placed on May 4th, 2008.Order sent to our warehouse for shipment on May 21st, 2008. Chris in VA Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I just ordered the older version from Amazon and read it in one evening! Devoured, really. I guess, tho, that I'm going to stick with WTM. It's pretty similar, and I appreciated how Drew gave kudos to SWB and her interpretation of neoclassical ed. He recommends some of the same resources. We will take a break from homeschooling our littlest next year and probably for 4 years, so I can earn that college $! Then hopefullly, she can come home for grades 7-10 or even all of high school, depending. I am looking ahead to that time, and reading LCC gave me more vision for the importance of learning Latin and the rigorous thought processes of LCC. I am actually all set curriculum wise for next year based on a combo of the old version, chronological history, and adding geography but I will be starting fresh with the younger 2 boys and I can't wait to see the new edition.
