hello Pennsylvania!

Recommended Posts

Hi Cleo,

Great to see you made it down there. Hope you and Gym Girl have a great time. Let me know if you think it would be a worthwhile historical/educational trip for us to make in the future. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back!

Ooh! That sounds interesting! How would I recognise you? You can spot me by my French accent ;)

We will have a stand with food/H2o and shirts that say Cloverpups 4-H. I will probably have a big hat on if we do not have a cover of any type due to my sun allergy. Otherwise I have long dark, curly hair.

Stop by and say hi if you get a chance! I get there @ 7:30am and will be staying all day.

Have a great time though with whatever you find to do!

Allene

For anyone who may end up near Ephrata in there travels, a neat homeschooling store -

Ken's Educational Joys

1930 Division Highway

Ephrata, PA

Phone: (717) 351-8347

Call first as they are either Amish or Mennonite and have odd hours.

Veritas Press is in Lancaster PA, I'm not sure if they have a store?

Ken's Educational Joys hours are: Mon, Wed & Sat 9-5. Tues, Thurs & Fri 9-9

I live in PA. Veritas doesn't have an actual store, but a warehouse. They are only open to the public on 1 weekend in the spring. I agree about Ken's Educational Joys, it's a great store.

I'll have to check this out soon. We are in the area frequently and I'm not aware of any homeschool stores near me. I've never been to a homeschool store.

I don't think VP has a store. They have a school here...and it's in Lititz, I think.

Ken's is okay if you really love R&S (not me). They also have plenty of games and scrapbooking materials.
