ksullivan87
I am thinking about stenciling a quote on our new school room wall. :) Anyone have an inspiring quote? I may add a couple of bible scripture reference too if anybody has some of those that they like. Thanks! PS I will take funny ones too. I am sure I will need it some days! This was from a long ago board member (maybe Mrs. Poppins?) "I believe in homeschooling because I don't think humans should be mass produced." Searching, it looks like Rosie has this in her sig line. Maybe she'll remember who it was from.

elegantlion
I stole this from Men who Stare at Goats, it fits our schooling. :D "We're Jedi, Bob. We don't fight with guns, we fight with our minds." I changed it to my son's name and the title to People who stare at books. It's on our white board right now.

Carol in Cal.
Lives of great men all remind us We can make our lives sublime, And, departing, leave behind us Footprints in the sands of time; Footprints that perhaps another, Sailing o'er life's solemn main, A forlorn and shipwrecked brother, Seeing, shall take heart again. Let us, then, be up and doing, With a heart for any fate; Still achieving, still pursuing, Learn to labor and to wait. (the last several verses of a poem by Longfellow)
