Dmmetler
Just saved $31 on curriculum for next fall ;). Check your "updates"-it's not in the regular messages.
mommy4ever
What is CAP?
Dmmetler
Classical Academic Press. Song School Latin, Latin For Children (and Greek, Spanish and French), plus some other programs. They did a challenge on facebook where if they got a set number of fans by Mar 1, they'd give a 25% off 2 day code-which, since a complete mastery bundle for LfC is over $100, is a big help. Bloggermom
Crap it is not in my updates! Mind sharing it?
tennismomkelly
I hope that I didn't miss the boat on this because I need to order LFC B. I became as Facebook fan yesterday but didn't get an update. I thought that the code could be used thru today.
UnPrairieMuffin
The FB coupon for CAP is still valid today, it mentioned that it was only for March 7th and 8th. You'll still be good to order today if you haven't already. Blessings, Erin
EJCMom
I wonder if you're a new fan if you're out of luck or if it takes a while to get the update. I've been wanting to get SSL for a while, but haven't wanted to spend the money quite yet. I just "liked" them but don't have the code in my updates.
Leav97
If you just liked them you will probably need to contact them to get the code. The code was sent on Sunday.

Beth in SW WA
5Wizards, I don't think CAP would want you giving out the code. It is for fans of their page only. I could be wrong. They didn't give the code out on their website. It is a facebook promotion.

delaney
Wow, I can't believe someone reported me. Crazy. Yeah that's lame. It isn't a secret code and FB codes are always sharded from other sites. It was meant to promote business, right?
Beth in SW WA
Fwiw, I didn't report you but I considered asking them if it was a public code. The idea behind the fb fan page is to build a loyal fan base. Again, I could be wrong.
JudoMom
Yeah that's lame. It isn't a secret code and FB codes are always sharded from other sites. It was meant to promote business, right? In this case, I think it was to promote their FB page. I think the fact they sent it to their fans in an update rather than even posting it on their wall means that this code was a thank you to their fans, not a general coupon code to be shared. MeaganS
They just put up a message saying that they resent the update, so new fans should have access to it.

Good point. I had to dig around to find it in my updates. 5Wizards, They would not give the code until 1750 fans were reached. JudoMom & I 'shared' the CAP page with fb friends to increase awareness of their company. Brilliant marketing on CAP's part. I purchased the LFC A mastery bundle with the code. Folks reading the code here for the first time -- and then decide to use it -- should become a fan of the page out of courtesy.
5Wizards
Folks reading the code here for the first time -- and then decide to use it -- should become a fan of the page out of courtesy. Well, I feel no obligation to become a fan. I am on their mailing list and that's as far as I'll go. I have no interest whatsoever in joining Facebook for a number of reasons. I really don't feel like getting into a big debate over my opinions and actions, so that's about all I'll say (I think :tongue_smilie:). You're entitled to your opinion, but I happen to disagree with it. Edited March 8, 2011 by 5Wizards
