Robin's Song
:grouphug::grouphug: That happened to my grandma's cat in her driveway. She was devastated. :grouphug::grouphug: My in-laws sometimes keep SIL's pit bulls. These pit bulls killed SIL's cat IN HER KITCHEN and cornered her nephew. DH and I won't let our children anywhere near those dogs. They think we're crazy :glare:.

Love2Smile
Thanks for all of your replies. I am more depressed today than I was yesterday. I think I was in shock and trying to control my daughters. My older one was very hysterical all day. It will take time I know...Im so sorry for those of you who have also lost pets in this manner. It's not like old age, or an illness, something you are prepared for a bit. I did not get to say good bye to him, and that hurts right now

happypamama
I'm so sorry -- what a horrible thing to have happen! I agree that he was absolutely a hero and may well have saved a human life, but it's still heartbreaking for your family. :grouphug:
