Donna A.
And I should add that I'm not completely selfish. ;) I do allow the kids to eat leftover T'giving pie more liberally than normal, too. We just don't have any rules about "waiting 'til after dinner" type thing like usual. And of course hubby can have pie whenever he wants. :001_smile:
lisabelle
Before ds, I would have said it was great for breakfast! But now I try to set a good example and we save it for dessert the following night.

Danestress
Fruit pie and pumpkin or sweet potato pie would be fair game from breakfast.
sandellie4
It's best when all the kids have gone to bed, sitting next to the fire, coming up with a story together about what to tell the kids about what happened to the pie...maybe trolls? MamaJeanne
So what's his problem? He should just save his piece and eat it for dessert later in the day. :D Ha ha! Actually, I think it was because it was his family (who would never eat pie for breakfast) who was in town. Both dh and I were both wound more tightly than usual :001_smile: It was a good day though. There was more than enough pie for everyone despite the pieces missing from breakfast. And the in-laws are gone!
