heart'sjoy
I'd like to buy some lightweight long tank tops for dd to layer under her longsleeve shirts. The strap style is not important so much as the length. Old Navy is the only online place I've seen so far.
EarleneW
My 10 year old loves the ones from Justice and PS.
OnTheBrink
Try Aeropostale. They have good sales, so they end up not being too pricey.
Murmer
Downeast Outfitters, Modbod, Shade, a lot of modest clothes shops sell these kinds of tank tops for kids.
Suzanne in ABQ
My 10 year old loves the ones from Justice and PS. My dd had several camis from Justice at that size.
Abigail4476
Try Aeropostale. They have good sales, so they end up not being too pricey. My girls love Aeropostale, and the tees/tanks are usually thinner fabric, which is great for layering.
Ottakee
I'd like to buy some lightweight long tank tops for dd to layer under her longsleeve shirts. The strap style is not important so much as the length. Old Navy is the only online place I've seen so far. Another place is Target or Walmart in the Juniors section. Often they are made so skinny that they would fit a 10 year old well and be plenty long.
heart'sjoy
I'll check these out. Most of these I've never heard of. Are they online?
YourFidgetyFriend
Try Juniors XXS or XS. They tend to have long tanks for layering. They are also generally small enough to fit a size 10 or 12 child. My sister wears an XS in junior sizes and can often fit 10 or 12 in kids. Good places to try would be Target (like a PP suggested), Charlotte Russe, Forever21, or Wet Seal.
In The Great White North
Try the boys department
justasque
Target. I've gotten them in the past for incredibly low prices ($3!), and they have both plain and cute designs like polka-dots (though I only see plain on their web site right now). They are quite long, and have a built-in shelf bra (or whatever you'd call it for a size 10 LOL!) Ours are worn a lot year-round and have held up well enough to be passed down. We've gotten the "ultimate tank" camis.
Sheila in OK
My dd likes the ones from Justice too. There is a store near us but you can also shop online at shopjustice.com. If you sign up with your email addy they will send you coupons.
cin
We've actually used Fruit of the Loom tank undershirts. They were pretty long. My daughter is a size 10 and at Justice, she wears a medium. I think their size range is 6-16 or 18, kids and juniors.
Starr
I think you'll find the tanks are now long enough at the hip line most places. It's the neck line you'll have to work with. A whole new world of dressing. :)
