Halcyon
I am wondering if someone has already done this. I know there's a Master list of EVERYTHING available, but short of watching every single one, I have no idea what is good and what is bad (and believe me, I've watched a few bad ones on there!!) Is there a master list on there of videos (particularly science and history ones) that WTM-ers LOVE? I know of Liberty Kids, the Planet Earth vids, etc, but I was thinking more topic specific videos, for example, on Gravity. Thanks.
LaurainMD
Sorry to hijack your thread, but can you tell me more? I checked out the website, but couldn't see how much it costs to have a streaming account, etc. I am intrigued, especially since we don't have cable anymore! Thanks. :)

Dmmetler
If you don't get it free, Homeschool Buyers Co-op has a discounted rate available. My only caveat is to make sure you get your registration information and save it locally because the co-op website goes down far too often to trust in using their portal. King Alfred Academy
Master list is a great idea! I just got my subscription so I can't add anything to it (yet) that hasn't already been mentioned. I will once I have had time to play with it! :001_smile:

King Alfred Academy
http://www.discoveryeducation.com/pdf/streamingplusTitle.pdf But what about the "regular" one and not the "plus"? Is there a master list for that one somewhere you could link too?

HootyTooty
http://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/images/stories/Documents/unitedstreaming%20basic.pdf I might be missing something, some of the titles mentioned here are not listed in the above link. Halcyon
http://www.discoveryeducation.com/pdf/streamingplusTitle.pdf I know of that list, but one can't know what's good without watching each one. I'd much rather have recommendations from the wtm-ers :)

Rivka
Oh cool, I didn't know they had Bill Nye! They just added a bunch of Reading Rainbow episodes, and are supposed to be adding more.
Halcyon
bump for more recs-i am going to divide these into groups (science/history/etc) so if you want to label what the Subject is, and perhaps add a sentence about the topic if it's not obvious, that would be great.
