Mr. Rogers Neighborhood (My dc watch it now on PBS, and I love it) Bozo the Clown (not sure if many of you have heard of it, it was more of a local type show. They also had the best Santa Claus pictures in Seattle area - in the corner window. You got to go up little ramps to get to him. They also had a window with hand-prints that activated the Christmas model train, and a WHOLE department of model trains in the Toy Department. Banana flavored popsicles. Avon perfume bottles in crazy shapes like dolls, cars, buildings, etc... Tinkerbell perfume (not the Disney character) Village brand lip gloss in little flat slide-top tins My round yellow telephone that looked just like this one Rotary dial phones with really really long cords so you could walk around and talk Calling "time" to get the correct time: "At the tone, the time will be....." Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots Those HUGE blow-up boxing gloves Romper Room - my friend was on the show once. I think it was filmed in Spokane, where she grew up. For you Seattleites, J.P. Patches the Charlotte's Web animated movie with Paul Lynde as the voice of Templeton the Rat Benji the dog Eight is Enough, Family (which I NEVER was allowed to watch), Good Times, The Jeffersons, Different Strokes (remember that "very special episode" about the child m*l*st*r down the hall? FREAKED ME OUT!), Silver Spoons, Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and Battlestar Galactica Andy Williams and Perry Como Christmas specials Lawrence Welk on Saturday night at Grandma's house Emergency! There's more in the middle of an Egg McMuffin than an egg in the middle of a muffin Starting to see people "jogging" for exercise Really bad ski bindings and uncomfortable boots at Saturday morning ski school up at Steven's Pass, WA Evel Knievel

I marinated myself in a combination of that and "Love's Baby Soft". Oh, and what were those women's razors that were shaped like a circle and you twisted it to get a new blade? helena
Does anyone remember the movie Bugsy Malone with Scott Baio and Jodie Foster? Pink Floyd Waterbeds Macrame curtains with shells woven in lots of arguments about rock vs disco in the house My mom, dad, and I all having waist length hair... (until the 80s :001_smile:) Okay, I have a funny one which I think think happened in 80 or 81. Rolling Stones and J Giles Band were playing, Prince was the opening act. He got booed off the stage. I'll never forget my parents coming home and retelling the story! I remember my dad saying "You know he was kinda cool though.." Little did all those old timers know the 60's and 70s were over, and Prince would rule the 80s! I always think of that moment as the end of the 70s. GREEN MACHINE!! My Snoopy sheets.. all things Snoopy.
