Granny_Weatherwax
It's in the 90's, with the heat index it's 100. I turned on the air conditioner to cool the house. The dog and the cat are sleeping in the only patch of sun streaming through the window. I guess there's nothing like a fresh sunbeam!:D
Jean in Newcastle
They're working on their tan? Or perhaps their vitamin D levels!

Brigitte
It is in the 90's here and my dog, who is weeks overdue for a haircut, keeps asking to go out. When I let him out, instead of going potty, he lies down in the driveway or on the sidewalk. I guess he just really loves the heat. :001_huh::001_huh:
Paz
We live in FL. One of our dogs is a northern breed. Each morning she waits until the sun is shining on the lanai and barks to go out and sit in the sun. She usually lasts about 20 min. or so. dansamy
I have one goofy dog outside right now. Dachshund/Sheltie mix, with a thick double coat & she's soaking up the rays!
MorganClassicalPrep
LOL. My dogs must just be spoiled, or lazy. They barely go out in the summer heat, and regularly lay on top/beside/underneath the air vents. And they are labs, not northern dogs! kalanamak
I I guess there's nothing like a fresh sunbeam!:D Yes, it's the smell of a sun-beam baked cat's tummy.
