Cricket
I know there are some fans of John Piper on here. He has decided to take an 8-month leave of absence. You can read about it here.
JVA
How wonderful to see that he values his wife so much. He is an inspiration.
Dayle in Guatemala
I love that he is seeing what could be a potential issue and taking care of it before it becomes an issue. If only more pastors/ministers felt free doing the same. He's a tremendous example.
Jean in Newcastle
Good for him. The pastorate (esp. such a high profile one as his) can be a pressure cooker for the pastor and his family.
iluvmy4blessings
Interesting. I think he probably gave more information than necessary but hopefully it is what it appears. Unfortunately these things often turn out to be the beginning of damage control for something bigger to come. I sincerely hope this is truly just a matter of needing a break and not just trying to beat something scandalous to the punch before it goes public. He is a good speaker and author. Tracy in Ky
I'm glad he has so many resources available, so that I can continue learning from him even while he is 'silent.' :) I agree--he is a wonderful example.
