hsmom
I am looking to get a dehydrator. I have been looking at the Excalibur. Anyone have one? Is it worth it? Does it work as well as it states? Or any other suggestions? We need one for dehydrating many things for our hikes, camping, and storage. Thank you for any help.
HRAAB
I have an Excalibur dehydrator that I'm very pleased with. I also have an American Harvester (round one). The Excalibur has a much larger capacity. I dry a lot of fruits and vegetables and use both dehydrators. I also use it to raise bread dough: set it at 110 and leave it for 30 min. Perfect. Wyndie
I have an Excalibur also and love it. It's all it's cracked up to be. :D

Blueridge
I've got a 9 shelf and wouldn't have any other brand. It does a wonderful job drying everything evenly. Here is a great site with wonderful videos and recipes! http://dehydrate2store.com/
myfunnybunch
We have an Excalibur and I really like it. I bought it after borrowing a friends tiny dehydrator and the difference was night and day. I can dry so much, so quickly compared to the one I borrowed! We dry a lot of apples, pears and fruit leather for snacks. All of our extra cherry tomatoes. Strawberries and peaches for oatmeal and granola. Yum. Easy, too! Cat
Peela
I bought my Excalibur 9 days ago now! I love it. I used to have one of those round dehydrators and I just found it annoying. I think I'm going to get plenty of use from my Excalibur. I have only heard good things about it. I got the 9 tray with the timer- I sold my moped which I never used, and just used the money to buy my Excalibur.
Sunflower
I love mine. We got ours on a special deal when it was a buy one get one free. It is great during apple and peach! I also use it for raising bread dough and making yogurt.
