MIch elle
Rain & snow here in Massachusetts. How about you?
delaney
We are missing this one by a small margin here just west of DC. PHEW!! I bet we are still off tomorrow b/c it will be snowing in the AM and all it takes is 2 inches to close school. UGH.
Ibbygirl
Warm here in South Florida. I saw the weather last night though that there is some system to the west of us over Texas that is moving this way. It's supposed to bring more cold arctic air.
Blue Lilac Studio
We are FINALLY going to get a significant snowfall here in central NY. Maybe we can actually go sledding this year, instead of reading about friends in DC sledding...
Starr
So far we are only getting the edges. Hopefully it will pass us by. I need to travel on Friday.
Margo out of lurking
While public schools had three weeks off due to snow, we continued to school. So this week, I called a week off for good weather. It snowed yesterday. I can only assume that it would have been a blizzard if I hadn't declared it a "good weather" week. At least it didn't stick to the ground!
Joyful
Mixed snow and rain here in southeastern PA. The public and parochial schools are closed or have early dismissals. We would have schooled all day, except I had to take DD to the doctor and wait for quite a long time for the prescription to be filled. So there goes half of our school time. But, DS did read half of "The Trumpet of the Swan" by EB White while he waited. :001_smile:
Homemama2
We got another foot of snow last night in NW IN...but today is blue skies and sunshine. :001_smile: If it's gotta be cold, at least it's pretty! Oh, and no snow day here. The roads are ok. Edited February 25, 2010 by Homemama2
gingersmom
It has been snowing in my neck of the woods since 7am. It started out like rain/snow slush and now is more snow like. The roads are messy, icy and so slippery. I don't plan on leaving my house till Saturday at the earliest.
Bee
I think all schools and most afterschool activites are closed. Younger dd didn't have ps today but did some hs work (much to her dismay homeschool was not cancelled). Older hsed dd did a little of her hs work. Mostly we baked cookies and they played outside. It's nice snow to sled in. The road in front of my house is ok now but more snow is predicted for later.
