*Jessica*
Can anyone recommend a good human anatomy model? Nik (age 6) really wants one with removable organs but the reviews I'm finding for these things are awful! Is there a model out there that isn't junk that I can get for less than $100? (Preferably a lot less, but I'm realistic that in this case we might really get what we pay for!) Thanks!
EKS
Home Science Tools has some that aren't too expensive from what I remember. But I've never actually seen them, so I don't know about the quality.
Jen500
We have some of the Uncover a...... books and they are neat. Not really a model, but they have plastic models of the body parts put together in layers. http://www.rainbowresource.com/product/Uncover+the+Human+Body/029872/1263654428-1351124
babysparkler
I've been looking for one too... I would like one that isn't a cheapie, but something that will last through 4 kids' elementary-highschool years. I have been intrigued by this one, but the cost is much higher than I'd like to spend and I haven't found any reviews on it: http://www.famemaster.com/Product/4D-Puzzle-Toys/educational/Deluxe/4D-Human-Anatomy-Super-Deluxe-Torso-Anatomy-Model-26080.htm Edited January 16, 2010 by babysparkler

Although it is possible for the parts to come out... if you pull hard enough ;).
kalanamak
I got one of the "four models" kind at this site. I got it at a Lakeshore brick and mortar store. It was about 22 bucks, and I am happy with it. http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/search/results.jsp?bmForm=keyword_search&bmFormID=1263657883470&bmUID=1263657883470&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=%2Fseo%2Fca|searchResults~~p|BD298~~f|%2FAssortments%2FLakeshore%2FShopByCategory%2Fscience%2Flifescience.jsp&bmText=initialSearchTerm&initialSearchTerm=body+models&bmHidden=search&search=10&bmImage=search.x&bmImage=search.y&bmHiddenName=search&bmHiddenIndex=0&bmImage=search&search.x=17&search.y=8&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor=body+models&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2Fmedia%2Fcontent%2Fsearch&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FProducts%2FLakeshore&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes=PRODUCT&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes=CONTENT&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator=and&bmHidden=autocompleteFlag&autocompleteFlag=&bmHidden=FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302097886&bmHidden=ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181113
