HollyDay
cable, dish, etc. We have an antennae, but it only gets ABC, CBS, and 3 PBS channels. NBC does the olympics. Is there a way we can stream it??
lionfamily1999
:bigear: We can't see it otherwise.
Word Nerd
During the last Olympics, you could watch online. I remember being asked to indicate which cable provider we used at the time to access the content, but I think there was an option for antenna users too. chanda7
Usually, all the mainstream events are broadcast on the main network channel while some of the less popular events, preliminaries, etc., are on the non-broadcast channels. I'm guessing it will be the same this year.
Renai
You can try Justin.tv. (I haven't looked specifically for the Olympics, but we watch other sports games on there.)

But eventually, the broadcast schedules will be posted to their website and you can see what is going to be on which channel. Hopefully there will be some live streaming. You can also call your local NBC affiliate to see if *they* will offer live streaming. Or, you can do what we did in the 1980's, and have a friend tape the prime-time coverage each night so we can watch the tape the next day. :)
Melissa B
I didn't even realize all of the Olympics events were only on one channel. We can't pick up NBC either. Are the other channels allowed to show reruns or highlights or anything? My kids are going to be disappointed. :glare:
mathmom
NBC already has a page dedicated to videos on their Olympic site. http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/index.html My guess is that a good amount of coverage will be handled online. Even so, I am waiting until after the Olympics to cancel our account with Directv. By the way, we are looking into using Boxee to stream Internet content on our television some time in the spring. You might look into that.
