lincap
We are having baby #3 and having some name stumps. I am having middle name mind blanks mostly.. So far we have: DS1 is Charles Gibson Strickland DS2 is Harrison James Strickland We don't know if #3 is a girl or a boy but these are the first names we like If boy: Alexander Ethan If girl: Alexandra Adeline I think Rose could be an ok middle name for a girl.. but cannot come up with one for a boy. Any ideas? We are thinking if Alex then we should pick a 1 syllable name. Any ideas? Do you think these names "go with" my other boys' names? THANKS! Sugarfoot
I like them! I have no idea why, but when I read your boys names, "Boyd" was what immediately popped into my head after Ethan, which I actually really like: Ethan Boyd Strickland Names are so much fun! I love "Rose" as a middle for a girl.
JFSinIL
John. Good, basic one-syllable male name.

Crimson Wife
Our DS has a 4 syllable first name, so we went with Karl for his mn. Might be too similar to Charles for your tastes though. Other nice 1 syllable names: Bram Brett Bruce Bryce Chase (too similar to Charles?) Clark Cole Craig Curt/Kurt Dean Finn Gage George Glenn Grant Heath Jude Keir Keith Luke Mark Miles Neil Paul Pierce Reid/Reed Scott Seth Todd
mbeaser
LOL, my DS is Ethan Alexander :D I wanted to change it at the last minute to Ethan Gabriel (and my brothers calling him Ethan Allen proved that would have been a decent idea....), but his Dad was too attached to Ethan Alexander by then (we'd picked it out within a week of finding out we were expecting). Grace might be a good middle name for either of your girl names.
JeneralMom
The English translation of my father's name is Alexander Gabriel so I am partial to that :)

newbie
I like Grant for middle for both and Mariah for Alexandra.
LibraryLover
I think Alexander goes with Charles and Harrison a bit better than Ethan does. I like Alexandra and Adeline. I know a few Alexandras but no Adelines. For middle names, I always go with family names. To that end, we do end up with many Johns and Josephs as middle names. ;)
