Shelly in IL
I did take my 10 year old and was surprised at some of the language (not the "f-bomb", but plenty of other "lighter" cuss words scatttered), but WOW, was this a movie. You walk out thinking how you'll ever see a movie that compares - we saw it in 3-D. Very Cool - and I'd never think I would be the one to like it. Peela
Yes- for the most expensive movie ever produced, I am so glad it wasn't a disappointment. Best movie I have seen in ages.
TXMomof4
I got more than a little tired of the "evil American destroying the planet" theme. The special effects were amazing and it was beautiful to watch though.
PinkInTheBlue
I absolutely agree! One of the top 5 favorite movies I've ever seen. My husband said so too. It was just outstanding and if I could manage it, I'd go see it again before it left the theaters. I don't like 3D, so we saw the non-3D version. prim*rose
My dh has been dying to see this while I'm not so sure about it. But with all these glowing reviews, maybe I'll give it a go!
Chris in VA
My film student son absolutely loved it. He went once by himself, once with his bro and friend, and today he's going with his "girl" friend. It's actually my Christmas present from him, so we will go next week! He thinks it will change movie making forever.

HappyGrace
I really, really wanted to see this due to the special effects, but after reading about it on the internet, I am now choosing not to do so, on principle, because the theme really bugs me. I find it very interesting that this movie is coming out right now, in this particular political climate.
My3Boys
We are not seeing it for the same reason. Just sick and tired of all these Hollywood types knocking the country that has brought them the success they so enjoy.
Crissy
My teen went to see it along with a pack of his cousins on Christmas night. Every last one of them loved it.
TravelingChris
I was somewhat interested based on the special effects but my 16 yo who follows modern movies more closely siad that she absolutely doesn't want to see it since she thinks it is anti American military and she is totally tired of those kinds of movies. I am seeing here that I guess we won't be seeing it.
Peri
I just saw it today and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. It was totally amazing and I can see why it is the number 1 movie right now. I saw it with a friend who did not think she would enjoy it but she actually ended up crying. For those who have not seen it yet, I highly recomend seeing it. I am so glad I didn't get disapointed.
Peri
I got more than a little tired of the "evil American destroying the planet" theme. The special effects were amazing and it was beautiful to watch though. Why must you see it that way? I did not get the impression of "evil american". I got the impression of mankind being destructive to humanity.
