Karen in CO
Yesterday, one of my neighbors came over in a Santa suit and gave little gifts to my kids and today another neighbor came by with jars of homemade jellies and a plate of cookies. I like these neighbors, but I am just not imaginative like that. Help me with creative ideas. Please.

LibraryLover
How sweet! If they have kids, I would give home-made playdough. It's so easy & quick; I wouldn't even cook it. Plop in a ziplock & have your kids make a bright and cute card. If they do not have kids, I would give cookies, or whatever inexpensive thing you all make to eat at Christmas. lisabees
How about those Cookie in a Jar type deals? There are tons of ideas if you google them! Or what about Snowman Soup - a pack of instant hot cocoa, marshmallows, a candy cane, Hershey's Kisses and that poem. Gotta find that online... http://www.designswithheart.net/jar_gifts/SnowmanSoup.html http://www.aapavatar.net/snowsoup.htm http://www.dltk-holidays.com/xmas/snowman_soup.htm

Carol in Cal.
I have one that you press the dough into, and it comes out with a pretty design on it. After it bakes and cools, I wrap it in clear plastic wrap (red clear wrap would be festive, too) and put red curling ribbon around it with a pretty bow on top. A great giveaway for neighbors! Jen in PA
Cookies/muffins/scones in one of those holiday Ziploc bags (I just bought the HUGE kind yesterday). The food can be frozen if they have an overabundance of goodies right now.
