Guest Elphaba
Does anyone know of a list of really great books for reading aloud to first graders? We've just finished the Henry Huggins books by Beverly Cleary and I think we're going to read "Little House in the Big Woods" next. My almost 4 year old listens as well. I'm not really looking for books on a first grade level (he's reading on a higher level on his own anyway), but I am wanting a really good book list to go from. Guest Elphaba
Thanks! We read a lot of book out loud, but they are always books that I remember reading and loving, so I'm always worried that they aren't...well-rounded enough or something. Those ideas are all fantastic!
