ciyates
to fix your family a healthy:001_rolleyes: meal of fish and fresh veggies and you sneak off to eat a PB&J because you hate fish and fresh veggies?
amy g.
Hmmm...I'm hoping my husband will hurry home today, and make my favorite meal of fish and fresh vegetables, but when my son makes his very well-received eggplant and tomato sandwiches for dinner, I always have a peanut butter apple instead. eight_gregorys
I know exactly what you mean. I do it, too. So if it's wrong, I'm right there with ya!
Heather in WI
If it's wrong, I don't want to be right. LOL! :-)
Melissa in Australia
I personally think it is wrong. not setting the right example and all that. fortunately I am the meal planer at my house, and only plan meals that I like.

That's why you sneak off. They don't see the bad example. :001_smile:
amy g.
I make my 3 older children take a turn cooking each week. I don't think it is fair to saddle them with the task of pleasing their unbelievably picky mother. On the other hand, I never force them to eat what I cook, so it's all good. Daisy
LOL. I just can't imagine choosing PB&J over fish & veggies. :D I think it's important to model good eating habits, but hey, as long as you don't get caught, go for it. ;-) Edited November 19, 2009 by Daisy
patchfire
I try not to cook too much I don't like, but I'm really, really picky. Better to offer the healthy stuff even if they don't see you eating it, yk?
Plucky
No, it is not wrong. I make special meals for my family that they love and I do not. I eat something beforehand and tell them I'm not hungry at dinner. They are happy.
