Dayle in Guatemala
I didn't notice any overt Christian overtones in it.
Mrs Mungo
The author is a Christian, the books are neutral.
blessedmom3
Old or young earth? Evolutionism ?
Crimson Wife
The books are neutral. Some folks have a problem with the author's involvement with a pro-"Intelligent Design" advocacy group. Also there was controversy over comments she made on a Yahoo group about evangelizing non-Christians. Do a search and you'll come up with plenty of threads on the subject. Blessedfamily
Did you know that on the author's site, she allows you to read the texts? You can flip through every page of the science texts.
smrtmama
I don't believe there is such a thing as "neutral" when it comes to science. A text can be avoidant of the issue of evolution, but cannot address it "neutrally."
blessedmom3
:iagree: I don't believe there is such a thing as "neutral" when it comes to science. A text can be avoidant of the issue of evolution, but cannot address it "neutrally." I don't find anything in the sample that would tell me if it is Christian or not . Suzanne in ABQ
Old or young earth?Evolutionism ? We've done Chemistry and Physics. Neither topic is addressed at all.
coffeefreak
The author specifically does not address either. You can go to the Yahoo group and read discussions there that the author takes part in.
