Heather in Neverland
that are above LC II? My ds has already done PL, LCI and LCII and some of Henle I (although it seemed mostly review of LC I and II). Now we would like to move on but we really need an online class or DVD option. I liked the looks of Cambridge but I don't think they have DVDs. Any suggestions? (X-post with HS board)
yvonne
VP Scholars Online has a live online class that uses Wheelock's and Cambridge, if your child is at least 12. My 9 yo's are doing VP's Latin I (LFC A) online class and are enjoying it.

Gwen in VA
Regina Coeli Academy (reginacoeli.org) has several Latin online offerings, depending on the pace your child wants to study Latin at. RCA offers both Wheelock's and Henle Latin programs, and the first year of the Lattin program can be taken over one year or over two years. The classes are wonderful! Ds2 is in Latin 3; Dd2 is in Henle Latin 2.
Brigid in NC
My ds is in his second year of Latin with the Lukeion Project. The teacher, Amy Barr, is terrific. Wheelock's is the text used (over 2 years -- Latin I and Latin II). Good luck! ~Brigid http://www.lukeion.org/
EKS
Keystone supposedly has a course that is based on Wheelock's.
Rebecca VA
We're a Lukeion family, too. My daughter is taking Amy's first-year Latin course, and we're very pleased. We went with Lukeion on their Family Tours to Italy in 2008 and to Greece last spring.
HollyinNNV
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Lukeion, too. However, I would not do it with a 11 year old. It moves too fast. Do something else for a year or two and then try Lukeion. Holly
Rebecca VA
Who wants to see a picture of my daughter? Go to the Lukeion home page (http://www.lukeion.org) and scroll down until you see a group of people all lined up in rows in front of the Colesseum. She's in the front row, in an aqua top and navy coulottes. She has blonde hair and she's holding a white piece of paper.
Gwen in VA
One thing to consider when looking at Latin classes -- Think about what level you want your son to take Latin up through. If he is aiming for AP Latin, you might consider taking Latin through a provider that offers AP Latin. Difficulties can occur when you try to switch from one program to another! Heather in Neverland
Thank you all so much for these suggestions!!! I didn't know there were so many options.
Alphabetika
My dd must be in Brigid's ds's class, as she's also taking 2nd year Latin with Lukeion and ADORES it! She and my younger dd have taken several Lukeion workshops, and my younger dd is counting the years until she can take Greek with Mr. Barr. We're a Lukeion family all the way! :hurray:
