My son has always scored in the high 90th percentile in the language arts sections of standardized tests. He took the SAT in May and June. First scores CR 720, math 640, writing 640. The writing section was a little low for him the first time but the other scores were on par with his abilities. The second time testing his math went down (not his strength) but his other two scores jumped up: CR 800!!!, math 610, writing 780!!!. DS wants to go into ministry so he is only applying to private schools that happen to have a high acceptance rate. He will be applying to the honors program where available.
