I don't think there's anything wrong with offering the kids some incentives. My boys earn money for doing their work and chores without arguing. Other kids earn screen time. Weapon X also fights me tooth and nail over everything. I'm not going to lie; sometimes I wonder what was going through my head when I decided to homeschool. But we did the public preschool thing. I actually looked at my plan again. Since I planned light school from now until New Year's, I can actually shift everything pretty easily.
