  1. I LOVE looking at different curriculum. I go to the local homeschool store often. I enjoy looking and buying.
  2. My twins are doing Aplogia Physics and Advanced Math they are not sweating it. Neither is saying that it is hard. My husband is teaching the Physics and he comments regularly how easy he thinks it is. They are averaging a module per week. I have read multiple times that Apologia Physics is challenging, sooooo I am hoping they are chugging along so nicely because they had been well prepared by Saxon math.
  3. We are doing World Geography this year. We are using Glencoe [Texas World Geo book] and supplementing heavily with National Geographic projects and they also have daily map questions. We used Bob Jones for World History. I have not decided on Econ and the rest yet.
  4. LOL. I am to read this next year with the twins, I hope I can stay awake.:D

Health Created my own Speech Created my own, using a high school teacher's website Art Annotated Mona Lisa, How Great Thou Art I know there is other stuff but I am not thinking right now. HTH
  6. We only can do what we can do. I offered. Frankly, I am kind of glad they don't want to continue I think my mind would have snapped! LOL
  7. I second Apologia. This book talks to the student on their level. It is also very user friendly. We have used Apologia Bio, Chem and now Physics and have not been disappointed.
  8. I am really liking this new system. The boards are nice to look at and easy to navigate. I am posting like a maniac!
  9. House 1 hands down. Larger lot with trees, Newer, Remodeled and Shorter commute.
  10. Maybe it is still hit or miss. I just got the 'server is busy' message.
  11. Ditto. I watch and listen to my twins and I really can't complain. They are both independent learners and want to be 'A' students. I never have to be the task master and tell them to do this or do that they just step up to the plate and do it. So in this sense the husband and I have done well. The rest is just gravy.;)
  12. My 15 yo DS and DD are reading Uncle Tom's Cabin. We are only reading the parts of Uncle Toms that pertain to his life. We are using American LL. They seem to enjoy it for the most part, but I supplement often.
  13. What editions do you all have? I just found a 3rd or 4th edition at a used book store for 50 cents so I picked it up. I really like the questions after the readings. Thought provoking...but I think I will need a TM as well.
  14. I am reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown and Great Expectation by Dickens. I just finished The Quickie by James Patterson.
  15. Up until a few months ago I would have fit into a different catagory...but I must be honest and put myself in the 45-49 catagory. Funny I don't feel 45. :D
  16. In our area the movie was just on last week. My husband, who is not a real hard core Sci-Fi even enjoyed it.
