I grew up watching it too in the 70's. It was on PBS right before Monty Python's Flying Circus. :D I never missed MP so I watched Dr. Who quite a bit as well. I always loved the theme song. :)

It's like the worst techno ever and it like cuts in and out so it sounds like his speakers are screwy and the beat is just all screwy and it's just irritating as can be!

I don't really mind that they like to have parties every weekend. They obviously are very social people and they have really expanded their backyard area over the years adding a pool, then a slide to the pool, then a fountain in the pool, and a chickee. I don't mind that at all, it's just the music they play is AWFUL. I will listen to all kinds of stuff, but they guy has an uncanny knack for finding the worst "music" every made and blasts it to the world. :001_huh: Maybe I should go over with my old record collection and school him. :p hehehehe

hehehehe I like Harry Belafonte too, but I'm more of a 70's rock kinda girl. :) Now if he would blast some Boston (first album), The Who, Lynryd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick or shoot even some Bee Gees I just might open my windows instead of muttering at him under my breath. :p hehe

I have to admit, I wasn't precisely sure which type of "books" you were talking about until the second sentence. lol Someone please tell me I wasn't the only one. :D OP, I have the same problem too. I have a tiny house, that looks like a library because of the number of bookshelves and I still have stacks of books that need a home. I've donated tons to the library already, but still have so many more than I have a place for. I'm trying to get hubby to build more bookshelves, but he says we need to get rid of more first. :(

YES!!! That movie was AWFUL but for Alan Rickman. He was brilliant as always. Kevin was just painfully bad. I have to give him some props though for not even attempting the accent. At least he had that much sense. :tongue_smilie:
