  1. I didn't give the star but maybe it wasn't that she posted but rather the snarky WAY she posted. Everyone has opinions, you know? Wanna hear mine? I actually like white TP. :D
  2. I'm not sure of the brand but we buy it from SAM'S and has 40 rolls in the box.
  3. Thanks. I think I will stick with what I am using now.
  4. Anyone use Silicone Bakeware? Do you like it? Is it safe? I heard it can be hard to clean, have you found this true? Any other tips? Thanks!
  5. Do you have a link to any teacher book sample pages? The only two I saw were coloring pages. Thanks!
  6. How hard would it be for a mom with NO Spanish knowledge to teach BJU Spanish without the DVD's? Thanks.
  7. I am vegan and never eat tofu or any soy if I can help it. Check out http://drmcdougall.com/index.html
  8. I used my KA for years making white bread but when I switched to whole wheat the KA didn't handle it well. I bought a Bosch and LOVE it although I have the same complaint about the inner thngie getting gross. It's a pain to take it apart every single time I make bread.
  9. I will be combining a 4th and 2nd grader next year using R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Life Science
  10. I am thinking that maybe just like SWB had to put specific times and schedules in TWTM per her publishers request, MP might have done similar?
  11. I'd love ideas of how would you handle this. We stopped doing our timeline 3/4 into our last year, which was ancients. I never started it back up this year but now regret that. Should I just start now where we are or try to go back and atleast write in the dates for this year? I don't really want to go all the way back to ancients. Jean
  12. I wondered about this too. I am specifically looking at purchasing this for the phonics. I'd love to hear from those who are using this.
  13. Slight hijack. Have you used these? I am thinking of American Literature for my 12th grader next year. I'd love to hear your opinion. Thanks!
  14. Thank you all! Karen, is you R level doing TOG lit? If not, what are you using? Thanks, Janice. This does make sense and I think I am going to try it next week. We have been having one big meeting on Friday but I haven't been happy with it and I think twice a week would be better.
  15. Could you please share how your week works? Right now my kids do their core and in depth reading on Monday and Tuesday, then answer the questions. They start lit on Monday and finish on Thursday completing the worksheet that day. Church History and Maps are done on Wednesday as were timelines but we seem to have dropped timelines somewhere along the way. We have a discussion on Friday. I was looking over some sample schedules and noticed discussions on Wednesday which got me curious how other people work their weeks. If you do a Wednesday discussion do you also do one on Friday?
