  1. I think this looks like a great outline of what to accomplish by five. I agree that reading aloud is very important. Also, on counting to 100, have you thought about skip counting? My 4 and 5 year old get really bored counting to 100 by ones, so counting by 5s and 10s was an exciting change for them. LOL
  2. I would do it in a heartbeat as well. My husband and I are currently going back to school. We are in a 800 sf. apartment with 4 kids. It can be done.
  3. We are WTM classical and a little CM mixed in.
  4. Here's what we have planned Math - Teaching Textbooks 4 First Language Lessons 4 SWO E and F IEW Latina Christina, Lingua Angelica United Streaming Spanish Veritas Press Lit. guides American History - using Veritas Press Extras - piano, cello, soccer, and tae kwon do
  5. I agree with the other posters that sitting down and figure out the goals each of you have is important. It will be difficult starting with a newborn but it has been done. :001_smile:
  6. I used OPG with my oldest and LOVED it. I will be using it with my 4yo and 5 yo this year but I will add in Explode the Code books as well as Leap frog DVDs.
  7. Mine is in my siggy. I will be updating more often in the next few weeks.
  8. I will be right at $1500. That will be 4th grade curriculum, two in K5, and Classical Conversations Foundations and Essentials.
  9. I am 75% sure on what we will be using next year. I haven't purchased anything yet.
  10. My husbands family comes over for breakfast so I usually fix a lot. This year, I will be fixing a over night egg casserole, baked french toast, bacon, cinnamon rolls, fruit salad, and a variety of juices, coffees and teas.
  11. We put ours up 2 weeks before Christmas. 4kids, 4 dogs and a cat..... I hope our tree lasts that long!
  12. The weather change has put me in the baking mood.....cakes, choc chip pumpkin bars, and breads. Yummy! I love fall!!!!!!!
  13. No, we are not done. We have four children ages 8,4,3, and 1. We had a miscarriage in June at 18 weeks. So we are going to try to wait a while before we try again. I would love to have 6.
