  1. I've had mine just about a year now, I've gained some weight, but I gain easily so I don't know if the blame is with the IUD or not. I Haven't noticed any hair issues, and I only have light spotting occasionally. I'm getting it out in a couple months though, since dh just got a vasectomy.
  2. Under, but I'm not going to get all weird about someone doing it over.
  3. Day 6 today! Going great so far. I made paleo pad Thai last night from Well Fed, it was a big hit! Tonight is going to be portobello burgers. How's everyone else doing?
  4. I have a smaller spiralizer, I love it for zoodles. I'm going to try sweet potatoes next with it.
  5. I've been meal planning for awhile and I've hated it almost the entire time, until I started using plantoeat.com. It has made it so much easier and less time consuming and I actually enjoy it now. Someone mentioned it here around thanksgiving so I gave it the trial and totally fell in love with it.
  6. Today is day 4 for me, I made the week one plan from here: http://theclothesmakethegirl.com/2014/12/28/whole30-resources-roundup-2/ We are loving it so far! It's so easy, but I can and do have meat at breakfast. My favorite recipe is West African stew from Well Fed 2, it's simply amazing. We also love cauliflower rice. Our plan is to precook lots of meats and veggies for breakfasts and lunches, then make dinner as usual every day. I have three Whole 30/ Paleo cookbooks and there are tons of recipes that look amazing in the,. I'm already feeling less bloated, more energetic, and all around better.
  7. I took ours down the day after Christmas. I could not handle the tree with the toddler and the cat anymore. But ill ways take it down the day after, I get tired of the clutter.
  8. That's kind of what I'm hoping to do as well, although not as strict. I need to find a way to maintain my weight. I have no problem losing but I gain so easily, so something is going to have to get drastic because sensible doesn't work for me.
  9. Sorry I meant to quote you in the above post. :)
  10. I have a couple recipe books, but for the first week while I get back into the swing of things, I'm using these complete menus by the lady who wrote Well Fed. All of her recipes that I've tried so far have been fantastic. http://theclothesmakethegirl.com/2014/12/28/whole30-resources-roundup-2/ She has 3 complete week plans there. I just gutted my fridge, pantry and freezers, took stock, separated the compliant from the non-compliant. Just have to shop now!
  11. Me too! I don't think its regional, so much as bad manners. I only got married 3 years ago and I was shocked how many people I had to chase down. One even told me she was just too busy... This girl is on facebook all.the.time. And I stamped and addressed the darn thing. Too busy! Ugh.
  12. I hear that, mine is the milk or heavy cream for my coffee. Sigh...
  13. I have been living it up the last week trying to get rid of all the non compliant food and a million pounds cheese! :D
  14. I haven't heard of Eat Live. I noticed some huge differences when I did it last year, hopefully your dh does too!
  15. I'm starting my second Whole 30 on Jan 1, I did my first last February and loved it but slowly slipped back into old habits. I have about 20-25 pounds to lose. I'm really good about working out but I need to clean up my diet. Ds2 also has some food allergies and his eczema is getting really bad, so I think it'll benefit him too. Anyone want to have an accountability thread?
  16. :grouphug: How scary. Hope he can get into neuro earlier. My thoughts are with you and your ds.
  17. I didn't even think of freezing it! Great idea! I might give that dip a try too, it looks yummy! Thanks!
  18. Help a lady out :D I am starting another Whole 30 on Jan 1st and I have a ton of cheese to get ridof, I adore cheese and really don't want to toss it. White cheddar - about a pound Extra sharp cheddar - 2 pounds Mozzarella - 1/2 pound Jack - 1/2 pound Anyone have and amazing, tried and true, cheesy recipes? Thanks!
  19. I'm making a Greek dip, Asian glazed drumsticks, maybe nachos, and purchasing some Mexican dips from a local chef. We are having a few other adults over and having them being and appetizer and a drink to share. So basically just a bunch of appetizers. Ribs and black eyed peas for New Years day.
  20. I have several Coach bags, a Fossil that is my go to bag, and a handful of Kate Spades, they are my favorite. Right now I'm using a cheap canvas tote with a rainbow on it that says Love is Love, it holds a small coach and diapers and snacks. :) I love bags.
  21. Thanks! We are starting another Whole 30 on Jan 2 and I have Well Fed and Well Fed 2 but her plans look great!
  22. We have mostly "traditional" roles. Dh does trash and yard stuff. I do most of the inside chores, but we split baby care and we put away laundry together. He rarely cooks but almost always chops the veggies I need for dinner. It works well for us.
  23. I'm a bag junkie. I do not care for most Vera Bradley stuff, except diaper bags and backpacks, I still love my pink backpack. However, enough people still have and use them that I don't think you'd look dated by any means. Wear and use what you like, that's always in. :)
