on the positive note...now all 3 kids have had the stomach flu this fall...at 3 completely different times...and all I have to do now is hope that my hubby and I don't get it.

SOme doctors will let you make an appointment without your child to visit with them first. Or, can you visit with the doctor over the phone? Just a thought. Kathy

on second thought...she just threw up the teeny tiny amount of what she had in her tummy...but I still wonder if she is constipated and she just worked herself up too much...is that possible??

I have never heard this one...can it be from a can? I don't know if I have such a creature in my pantry...I will go and look.

that she might be consipated...she is 9...and it is Thanksgiving...what should I do to try and relieve her pain??

I would not know if she is sensitive to the touch...she won't let me touch her.

well no one said not to, but I can't get her to drink or eat anything now. She just lays on the couch moaning about how her tummy hurts...but she still doesn't have a fever nor has she thrown up. So I don't know what to think this is. I guess we'll wait until tomorrow and see what happens. UGH!

are these like wikky stix? If so, my kids have these and we use a dry erase board for their surface...it works really well.

This may seem like a dumb question, but I didn't think you guys would mind...my daughter woke up this morning complaining of her tummy hurting. She has been lying on the couch since 8:00 and hasn't gotten sick. At about 9:30 she ate a few rice krispies (without milk) and took a sip or two of water...and she didn't get sick. So here it is 1:15 and she is still complaining of a tummyache...if she hasn't gotten sick already, could she still have tht flu? Or should I assume that it is somehting else? I don't want to discredit her, but she is the drama queen of the family too. Nearly about 100% of the time when my kids get the stomach flu, they get sick in the middle of the night, so I never know if they have been feeling bad for a while before they get sick...or if it comes on fast. Is this a dumb thing to be bothering you guys with??? Sorry...just have Thanksgiving plans and are wondering what we should do.

I just placed my order...crossing my fingers I will get them in plenty of time.

Oh, I am very interested in this...if anybody has done this, PLEASE post what you did!!! One thing I did for Eygpt, was do Evan Moor History Pockets...my 3 kids are really like this!! But I will be looking for more once we move out of Egypt.

What do you guys do...do you give school related gifts as Christmas 9and birthday) gifts? Like microscopes, educational games, and the like?? And when you have, (if you have), have your kids been unhappy because it is a school thing and not a toy?? Kathy

here is what I specifically need...maybe someone can help me find these...liquid measures, linear measures, the 5 senses, continents and oceans, ..of course I can just type some of these lists out, but I would love to have them with graphics too...so if someone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
