    I spent the past hour or so with Harry Bosch. Took me a while to get used to this one (Lost Light) because it's written in first person, but it's ok now. As addictive as ever. I needed something a little more.... what's the word.... Intoxicating.... after finishing the first installment of the Theodore Roosevelt trilogy, which was extremely well written, but....not quite as intoxicating.

    Lol! I would have been suspicious if he had been getting hundreds all the time. I knew better than to expect that. But his grades had been passing 80's and 90's with a few 70's thrown in there for good measure. I don't think he cheated on all of them, but a majority. Thanks for the encouragement, though. He's struggled with math all the way through his education, so this is nothing new.

    I lunched. It's Catholic Schools Week this week and they wanted DS to serve at Mass today, so I took him and DH took the rest of the family to our church. It was a nice service. Then we went across the street to his school for Open House. Visited with a couple of his teachers for a while.

    Actually, they don't do too bad. They just fight constantly! Which is why I hide out in my bedroom when they're doing the dishes.

    And Renaissance just swept in and stole the Booya/h. Thank you auto-correct, who insists that Renai's name is Renaissance.

    Actually, since Christmas we instituted a new chore list and my minions do put glasses and silverware in the dishwasher, as well as scrape plates and put them into the dishwasher. So, what's left for me is not that bad.

    I know, I'd really like to, but the only time they are peaceful is when they are watching tv. Which is what they are doing right now. So, I don't want to disturb them.😋

    My children are so loud and obnoxious! I have to keep telling myself, "they aren't bad, they are just loud and obnoxious" as I hide out in my bedroom!
