Oh wow! I was so tired this morning I didn't see the Booya/h! Well then, this is a bleary-eyed, coffee drinking, rainy day Booya/h too ya!!!😜☕ï¸â˜”ï¸â˜”ï¸ And I quoted instead of editing. Obviously the coffee hasn't kicked in yet!

They are very attractive birds. My favorite birds are owls. And Phoebe birds come in a close second. We don't have terribly interesting birds around here, unfortunately. The summers are full of sparrows, finches and mockingbirds, with an occasional Phoebe. Although we live close to the river and there are plenty of owls down there. Oh, and we have mourning doves. And robins and scrub jays. And I saw a hawk today, circling.

Wow! That's amazing. Snowflake kitty loves watching birds, but I've never seen her catch one. Socks, otoh, is a hunter. She catches birds and mice and June bugs in mid-flight. And that surprises me because she is a fat cat.

My cheating caught up with me. I gained 2.5 lbs. 😱😳😭 I hate peri-menopause.

Maybe I should do Duolingo. I've heard of tha, but never checked it out. How is it set up?

our mockingbirds dive-bomb the cats. I actually saw fur fly once. The cats try to ignore them.

I finished my Third Form Latin assignment AND I finished a huge translation I'd been working on in Henle. AND I started Getting Started With Spanish today. Because... I desperately need to learn Spanish. All I understood on Saturday night is when the ladies would point to me and say, "ella" which I believe means "her". So I knew they were talking about me. Now, I need to fold laundry and watch CSI:NY. I love Gary Sinese.

It's rainy here, too. But not cold. Yesterday on the way to church we noticed some of the early peach trees just starting to put out some pink blossoms! So, spring isn't far away.😊 Well, this week isn't going to be quite as busy as last week, though Thursday DS has 2 high school open houses to go to. The first, during the day is at the local Christian School. It looks more and more like he will be going there, although it is not our first choice. It's expensive. We would prefer him to go to the charter school at the Community College. It's a co-operative between the school district and the community college district. We like the way it looks, you get out in 4 years with both a High School diploma AND an AA, and it's free. But I'm worried that he won't be up to the work load. Anyhow, the school is also having an Open House on Thursday afternoon.

Well, the Patriots are actually playing football now. Not that I am cheering for them, but somehow they turned it around.

If the Patriots win this game I will be absolutely flabbergasted.
