Dh used to work nights and he bought styrofoam of some kind and cut it to fit. Not cute, but cute curtains over mini blinds would hide it and the room is dark as a cave. Debbi

I have a rising 9th grader and am starting to look seriously into transcripts and other such high school requirements. I plan to read the high school section of WTM. He sounds exactly like my son, including the back pain. He had ankle/foot problems as well. We have taken him to a foot doctor and hopefully are on the right track with tht. For his insomnia he takes melatonin. I always wondered if his insomnia was related to his being in the hospital for 17 days when he was born. The light is never off in the nursery.

I use Premsyn PMS. It is with the midol type things, but works much better for me. I can't find it just anywhere,Wal-Mart doesn't even carry it. Brookshire's grocery store has it or your local pharmacy can order it. Hope this helps.

Dh and I only get each othe small gifts, usually $20-$30. We have stopped (by mutual agreement)exchanging gifts with the extended family. Now they have taken it a step further on my side of the family and have stopped exchanging birthday gifts!!! Our parents spend so much on medication, that this will be a big help to them. Debbi

I haven't read all the other responses, but I feel your pain. I have a picky eater. He always has been. I finally gave up trying to ind something to cook that he will eat. I finally started taking hime to the store and letting him pick out his own frozen dinners. He will eat more things that I cook now(he is 14), but he still eats plenty of frozen dinners. I don't like it, but at least I know he is eating and my stress level is much lower. Good luck- I know how you feel.

Help!! I really want to do Latin with my 14 year old- ok I have wanted to for several years. Now we are at a point in our lives that I must work to help support us. I work 40 hours per week. I have Latina Christiana 1, but it is just not possible to fit it in my schedule at this time. Is there a Latin curriculum that he can do himself? Thanks for any help!! Debbi

Well, Little Rock has a Children's/Science type museum, the Bill Clinton Library, the Old State House, a zoo. There is a Chldren's Theater that is part of the Art Museum, but I don't know if there is anything playing right now. Hope this helps.

OK- We finally have another offer on our house. Buyers have offered $2,000 more than current asking price (which is still $5,000 less than what we paid for it), but they want us to pay all closing costs. They are getting a VA loan, so closing costs will be higher than normal. We just want the house gone, so we agreed. Please continue to help us pray that this house sells. Thanks so much!!

About 15 years ago, I had a bad case of flu. After the flu, I had a major depression. Don't know if it was related or not, but I have not missed the flu shot since. A nurse told me that if you will rub the area immeditately after the shot, your arm won't be as sore. I have had one nurse willing to give it in the hip and the soreness wasn't as bad. Some arm soreness is the only symptom I have ever had from the shot. Our entire family gets the shot every year.

Just wanted to say, be extra careful driving through Little Rock, Arkansas. I-40 through there is especially heavy with trucks.
