  1. Our homeschool group actually called the sheriff's office and they brought us in and did a day program for us. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  2. I'm a club leader of what I consider a pretty active and productive club. We let out kids choose from year to year on what we focus on....we have ended up doing some strange projects. This year the club voted on doing cake decorating. Every year we do the entire requirements for one complete project year, including the record books (this helps first time families understand all the steps of completing a project). We meet 1x a month from Oct - May officially. We usually do 2 service projects and at least one field trip ....sometimes outside reg. Club days. We also usually have a fair planning BBQ in June and for the first time this year, we did a camp out in July (again something pushed through by the kids) Each month during our club meeting, we spend about half the time on club business (using an agenda) and half the time on a scheduled activity (often from our chosen project). We meet for 90 minutes. Sometimes we meet for a boadgame day. We are a homeschooling club who has become very close in the last few years and we are active enough (county wide) that we have had no problem finding new members. I've been very blessed being one of the leaders. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  3. There is a new prison and an old prison there. It's a fairly small town. You can take tours of the old prison. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  4. Did you double check the number you entered? The one time we got that message I had entered my son's SSN incorrectly. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  5. The expansion requires you to pull stuff out of the original game and replace it with expansion pieces. We love castle panic but seldom play the expansion because of the (albeit small) amount of time it takes to make the changes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  6. I love reading biographies. I've ready 5 of them in the last 2 months. The one I liked best of those 5 was Gracie: A Love Story by George Burns. It's about their marriage and their career. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  7. Contact your local County extention office and ask if you can purchase their year 1 cooking project book (in my County they are free but can be up to $10) It should include both recipes and skill lessons Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  8. If you would like to steam it you could put it in a small bathroom, turn the shower on as hot as it will go and close the bathroom door. Give it 15-20 min. This works on a less wrinkly jacket. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  9. Yes you can iron a suit jacket at home. Be aware of any pleats on it and watch that you don't distort the lining (mostly where it meets the outer shell of the jacket). Use a press cloth (or a flour cloth towel) between the iron and the fabric so it doesn't leave shines on the fabric. Make sure the heat setting is the right temp for the fabric type...not to hot. 10. We use carryon often with our kids. We just use a basic $20 duffle bag. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  11. After checking what everyone mentioned (tension, correct threading, tight bobbin) also check the needle. Even if it is new, it could be minorly falmormed (bent tip or piece of flash on it) and cause missed stitches Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  12. 4 days til christmas and im just starting 3 pairs of pjs tonight. I have a serger and hoping they will go together quickly! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm a woman and I do this. So does my mom and my brothers. In our case it is a hereditary sinus issue causing drainage. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  14. I'm another person who has burned up hand mixer after hand mixer year after year. I pretty much used a spoon or whisk manually on everything I did. On thanksgiving I would use my handmixer...to have it burn out in the middle of prep. There were many black Fridays when I was back out buying a new hand mixer. 2 years ago I got a kitchen aid...and I'm NEVER going back!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  15. We own a '97 avalon that we recently put some work into. No problem with parts...after market parts are widely available. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
