  1. Trim Healthy Mama has an unflavored one Thst only has whey protein in it. They also have a plant protein with no sweeteners.
  2. Yes the ends do fold up, but they are way too low for me. I do use throw pillows for arm support at times. Usually I am crocheting while watching Tv and don’t need the arm rests. I do like sitting on it but it’s too solid for sleeping. We have discussed looking for a foam pad for it, but storage then would be an issue.
  3. We have this lounger from Costco. It’s great for me when my back is out and I need a firm place to sit. perfectly ok for a quick nap. However, there is really no arm rests. And it very solid, as in we had one over night guest who opted to go home early…rather than another night on the hard bed. It is black and not brown. We will be looking for different options.
  4. Yes, there are a million and one on Pinterest. Looking for non chocolate, not a ton of sugar and not muffins. what’s in your recipe file?
  5. Initially the med was called in as an inhaler, and it was $500…and insurance was not going to cover it. When we got it straightened out that we had a nebulizer, the Rx was cheap, by comparison, $30 maybe? and covered by insurance. We have never used/needed them before.
  6. You might want to consider asking your Dr about “healing” type,of steroids via a nebulizer…Nebulizers are easily bought on Amazon, ut you need an RX for thr steroids. The vials are way less expensive than an inhaler..same kind of meds… My husband needed them during his Covid recovery.
  7. Hindsight is always 20/20. Don’t beat yourself up. You were ready to move, and you went with it. Who knows what the housing market will be like in 18 months…you might have been no further ahead financially than you are now. We sold our house quickly when My husband decided to retire. We sold it in a text…no getting ready , no staging, just showed them the house and we communicated thru text. We could have made more money had we not hurried into the decision and had an appraisal done or put it on the market and encouraged a bidding war. Those kids got a deal and they would have paid more. It just is what it is. We are happy with the less stress and just moved forward. Hang in there. The process of Selling a house is not fun..
  8. Offers can take a while to write.
  9. I did some quilting! Altho I know binding techniques, I have never actually quilted Like this. I have mad only rag quilts in the past. I made heat resistant largish placemats for our end tables…where we drink /spill our morning coffee, and hubby eats his snacks at night. I made the blue/teal/white one to match a summer Afghan I keep on my sofa.
  10. Another thought. We recently sold a rental house we were not living in. We often drove over after a showing to find all lights still on, doors unlocked… We always reported it to our realtor, but she wasn’t the one doing most of the showings and all she could do was comment to the other “not very professional” realtors who were showing the house. It would have been very nerve wracking to be be several hours away. I hope your house sells quickly and you won’t have to deal with all this stuff!
  11. I would stay close to home. When offers come in, there will need to be discussions and decisions, conversations with realtors…I wouldn’t to be doing that at Disney.
  12. We lived in. Residence inn for 3 months while we house hunted. When our stuff showed up (we moved to a different state) I was there when it was unloaded into a storage unit. I made sure I could access clothes..as we were heading from winter into spring. Winter coats became swim suits during that time…but we quickly found what we needed at the storage unit as the months went by.
  13. Really depends on who will e looking at your house. FWIW….here is my life so far.. 20 something, 1st house…basement laundry, bottom of steps off kitchen. Basement was partially finished. Not creepy. Late 20’s..needed more house. 2 story, laundry in the basement, again bottom of steps right off the kitchen. But it was 2 flights of stairs up or down with laundry baskets. Ugh, but totally doable at that age. Basement was mostly unfinished, but clean and not creepy. 30’s…split entry, laundry in lower level. Lower level was completely finished except the laundry/utility room. But had daylight windows and clothes lines. 40’s. Ranch home. Main floor laundry. I loved it! Didn’t know what I was missing. 60’s. Retired and downsized . When we moved we would not consider a basement laundry room at all. Stackable save space , I got use to it when we lived with our daughter while we were house hunting 2 years ago. I struggle to get clothes out of the washer…but wouldn’t be my first choice. we currently have side by side, front loaders, on the floor, no risers. Hard to reach into the back… I would like risers, but then I would loose the counter top above the machines. bottom line here, no perfect answer . Do what you think is best, or get realtor advice.
  14. Looks lovely! Are they changing color on the cabinets or will they stay white? Black countertops will make me want to lean towards gray, but I am not a gray person either! I told our realtor when we were house hunting 2 years ago, I do not want a white, gray or black kitchen. And we found one with shades of green, navy and tan. Sounds wierd but it works. what about some shade of sage green?
  15. We had this smoke several weeks ago.We had the worst air in the nation for one day, but It was gone by the next day. My son found this website…easy to read city by city. HTTPS://fire.airnow.gov
  16. Fat fingers , sung to the tune of Gold Finger from James Bond.
  17. I have the bottom one, drawer is only accessible inside. I keep meat and cheese in it. I rarely need only something from that drawer. I think it depends on how you want you use it. Snacks for kids which don’t require the whole fridge open, it would be great.
  18. I had a stylist for over 15 years…she moved salons a couple times and eventually opened her own tiny salon. I always tipped her as I knew her prices were cheap…and I wanted to support her. I was sad when we moved.
  19. Check your local. Craigslist or FB marketplace for boxes. We got most of our moving boxes that way. When we moved to a new state about 2 years ago, everything went into storage for several months while we house hunted. A master detailed list was so helpful! Every box had a number and my master list had the contents of that box. When we put it in storage, boxes were organized in sections …helpful as we needed a few things during our temporary stay at our daughter’s. Moving day to our new house i was able to direct traffic to where the boxes went.
  20. Personally I don’t like white soles on sandals. I had some summer Birk sandals with white soles. I sold them. 🤪
  21. I am in awe of the beautiful quilts! I have a close friend who is ready to teach me any time I’m ready. But I fall back on what I am good at…clothing, specifically knits. Currently I am sewing some new tshirts for my sister who is in stage 4 colon cancer struggle. Her weight has gone up and down and currently is down…I can help her out in this small way. I have 5 shirts cut out and a couple more planned..I am hoping to get a box off to her next week sometime.
  22. Good question! I had been purging after my last child got married and moved, so I had many empty spaces over a 5-10 year period of time. What was left to go thru was my office file cabinet, scrapbooking stuff, and my sewing room. That took me pretty much a month, as I sold a good portion of it. Hubby was working on his shop , the garage and the outside shed during that time. Many donation places will come pick up donations, so I would start checking on that. Where I currently live there is a resale shop that started out as organizers, helping people purge. They will come in and work with you and then take away what they can resell or maybe they even donate some stuff. Do you have a community FB page for where you that you can ask about this? We probably spent about 6 weeks going thru stuff before we had the sale. We just made piles in the front living room of what we wanted to put on the moving sale, and some was sold on Marketplace etc. My daughter and 4 teen grandkids helped my husband with the sale. (I was having a 3 rd episode of Pulmonary Embolisms at that point and wasn’t much physical help). If you can’t hold a sale, you will probably need to donate…however, sales are exhausting. Ultimately it was worth it as the money we got for all our stuff we sold, paid for our moving expenses.
  23. This is what we did several years ago. We made the decision that we were going to downsize and just got started. we sold our house thru a text message…yes, we did. No realtor, no showings. It was amazing. They weren’t ready to move yet, so we just kept purging…big time. And then we had a big moving sale. When we finally figured out where we were going to move to, in less than 2 weeks we were boxed up and ready to go.
  24. Get the extension pack for the original game which allows you to play with 6 players. It makes the board bigger. We always play with it even when. We only have 4 or less players. Seafarers and those games all play off thr original board game.
