Not researching but currently reading "The Blood of Emmett Till" by Timothy Tyson. Really well done (and heartbreaking) book!

A few years ago when i saw a dad let his 2 year old scribble a signature I figured that it probably didn't matter much!

My mom would like kids/grandkids to be able to text her pictures, but would like a bigger screen than a phone so that she can see the pictures better. I am thinking an inexpensive tablet would work well, but am not sure what would be the easiest, user friendly app. Any experience or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks~

I use motivated moms checklists. Even if I fall behind, miss a few days or even a week I know that the tasks will come around again. I have been doing this for a few years and it has really helped!

Yep. I am post menopausal- not sure if that coincided with losing my ability to spell-but I am definitely feeling embarrassed now about my years of feeling annoyed and judgmental about other people's spelling mistakes!

I used a Chromebook. Very fast and easy to use. The only drawback for me has been the printing. I have linked it to my printer, but it always seems to eventually unlink. But since I am using Google Drive for most documents I can just print off my desktop or work computer.

A neighbor of mine once suggested putting a bar of soap in with the sheets ( I store mine in a drawer) and that seems to help.
