There's a tarantula by the door of our building. (They migrate through this area in the fall in search of girlfriends.) I may ask for a piggyback ride to my car.

Why is the person providing my son's speech and OT calling us to ask if he has an IEP? That's *why* she comes to our house once a week.

It's like Whack-A-Mole around here tonight. One kid up, back down. Another one pops up, back down. Two up at once, get both of them back down. Worst part? We're not even getting tickets that we can turn in for candy and really cheap plastic toys!

Said goodbye to my sweet companion of 7 years. My Lucy was the best doggy, always happy and she loved everyone. There is an empty spot in my heart and home but she is no longer suffering.

I hate wall to wall carpet. I think it should be banned. Only hardwood, tile, or laminate should be allowed. That is all.

In the last 24 hours we bought our first hamster, it escaped overnight, we found it behind dd's bookshelf, and successfully captured it. I'm starting to see why my mom never let me get a hamster.
