  1. I use NARHS, and perhaps it depends on your adviser, but we've had no problems with outside classes. I simply forward on the main components of work my ds completed for the class as well as whatever the instructor gave to us as proof of completion. That proof has been anywhere from a simple signed document (speech and debate and I actually assigned the grade) to a "report card" (Biology) I would think that if you send in his work as well as whatever Great Books sends you as proof of completion that will be sufficient. I've never had them ask me to notarize anything. Hope this was somewhat helpful ;) Joy
  2. Have you checked out arn.org? We are using Apologia but are supplementing with resources from access research. HTH, Joy
  3. I don't know where you live so this may not be feasible....but Vera Bradley has 2 outlet sales a year in Fort Wayne IN. They are in the fall and spring. My sisters and I have gone and there are lots of good deals. Also, the website has decent sales and if you're on there email list they will give you advance notice. HTH, Joy
  4. Praying that the Lord continues to bless and guide you.
  5. I'll jump in here - we're doing AG and 1 LL spread out over the year for 1.5 LA credits. I feel AG is worth 1 since we're doing the whole program in 1 year, hth. ~Joy

  7. I've been using an old German course from the state department - (I think I actually heard about it on this forum) and livemocha.com. This combination has been a good fit for us and seems to strike a good balance. Here's the link for - http://www.fsi-language-courses.com/German.aspx
