Wish I had the time for a HP marathon! Don't you wish you could read some books again for the very first time?

The Shy Little Kitten, Richard Scarry's Big ABC Book and anything illustrated by Eloise Wilkins (of course, I was much older before I knew who the illustrator was) I remember poring over each page.

I saw this too- immediately thought of how long it took me to teach my boys that we do not pee in the bathwater! Somehow we all survived :-)

We love each other very much and are both very glad we live 5 hours away :-)

I think the newer ones have more parental control features, for example you can have kids repeat individual problems without redoing an entire lesson. (This is what my friend told me- I don't have the newest version)

NO ONE does it all. That mom who runs everything, looks so organized, has it all together, blah blah blah? It's an illusion. Somewhere, something always has to give. Figure out what's important to you and don't compare yourself to the families around you.

We enjoyed the flexibility the four day gave us

I let my younger ones listen as they want to, and usually give them coloring sheets or other activity pages on the same topic.

Saw parts of it... every time we get involved in a series it gets canceled, so maybe everyone's better off it I don't watch it!

Dutch Blitz... my kids love Settlers of Catan, but I refuse to play it with them because they are so stinking competitive!
