2 that I have done since I was in middle school. Sorry no strict recipe... Lemon-pepper chicken with pasta sautee chicken boil noodles mix together with lemonpepper, sour cream. Serve with side salad! We call this one chicken ala-Gabriel (my aunt) Sautee chicken cubes, mushrooms, onions, and artichoke hearts. in same pan add sour cream and wine to make a sauce. boil noodles. serve over noodles top with parmesan cheese!

I thought she did a pretty decent job of answering the ?'s here. I really hope that it was the ip address thing. Otherwise, I feel completely on edge. From my perspective it "looks" like because she sounded like someone else...she was guilty and had to be proved innocent. I'm not saying questions should not have been asked of her. Something in this whole deal seems off. I just asked her in a PM if she was homeschooling mom and things like that, she was very upfront. Hopefully it was the IP address :)

From what I read...she was open about no longer homeschooling, but was supportive of it. I really hope being akward, doesn't get us banned. I know I can be extremely akward at times...esp first thing in the morning ;) That said I started to wonder if english was not her first language.

I'm a bit confused....what did she do to get banned?

Just started 3 weeks ago...going thru the summer to catch up on what was lost to the PS. Hopefully, by fall, we will be at grade level. But we do a ton of camping, hikeing, fishing, horseback riding...you name it!!!!

lawnmowers put me to sleep :) That said I have a neighbor who hates kids.....but oh he loves to have a perfectly neat yard. As a result of his continual hostile attitude towards my kids, I have become very unmotivated to mow the yard!!!! I'm thinking about growing a dandelion farm with pink flamingos too!!!!

My son had constipation issues from birth! We did miralax and numerous other remidies. I will tell you what we did, and it works...but age and maturity have a lot to do with keeping the problem resolved. First, of all I do make ds drink with every meal. I don't allow any soda except on special occasions...and keep free access to fruit as snacks. We try to avoid a lot of dairy as this doesn't help him at all! Now for the nitty gritty!!! Every meal when he begins to eat...I send him to the bathroom to "try." I had to make special arrangements for him at school, but now that he is home it's not an issue. He goes everyday now...usually in the middle of dinner :) but I still have to watch him for any straining or holding....going to a secret place with knees drawn up :) I can smell it when he is constipated...plus it leaks around the plug...when that happens I become the bathroom nazi!!!! immediately he is given a snack and then sent to the restroom....we will be really strict until he has a good BM. Then we have to have "the talk" again about going at every meal :) Hope you could follow that! There is a condition called "super colon" but I would have know idea if that is what you are dealing with.

As a pastor's wife it is very hard to see people leave. Not because we need the numbers, but because we love having relationship with the person...especially if they have been around for awhile. :) That said...I would never begrudge anyone for doing what is best by their child!!!! As another poster said...it can be frustrateing when a child/teen leads their family around by the nose, based on music styles and such. That is not what you are describeing. One ? I have is do you have other kids? are they connected where you are at? Is there any room to talk with your children's leader or pastor? Do not feel ashamed to do what is best by your child! :)

How do I do a siggy?

My kids are 9dd, 8ds and 8ds, 5ds. When I had the 3 under 2 routine was survival!!!! got away from it a bit...but it's getting back to being a neccesity ;)

I used to be really good at routine...but I struggle now. I'm finding it difficult though to get all their school work in, house maintained in some order, and food cooked. I used to do this pretty good one... Mon. clean hard...school light Wed-thur...clean light, school hard Fri. maintence clean...school light but it's not workinf anymore :(

I remember when I was younger with newborns and toddlers...I had this great passion for motherhood, good routines, cooking, baking, home decorating. I was a "domestic godess" and I was happy with it. A couple years ago our family went thru something very tramatic...think "all the problems the Catholic church has been having." It changed me...some ways for the better...some worst. I want that passion back...but am needing some inspiration!!!!! My only difficulty is I have a pretty sensitive religous trigger. It's gotten better, but I guess I am looking for some good books to bring out the mommy in me :) Any ideas!

Thanks Ladies! I think what most drew me too this was the fact that my kids were not going to be starting off cold with their own writing ideas! Kinda like "Finding Forrestor." Yes I know...SP is not my strong point!!!! I'm being lazy this morning :tongue_smilie:

I was just like your dd as a kid. My mom was able to find a Rune kit at barnes and Noble....this was 15 years ago :) but it had the runes and a study/ translation guide! It was great! So I know those are out there!!! Maybe look for a "kit."

I was just curious what other families were doing for morning routines? What time do you start? what does your morning look like? How do you fit in household chores? Things like that :) Thanks!!!
