  1. About to soon do Joyce Vedral's On the Ball Workout.
  2. About to soon do Ballet Body: Upper Body. Hopefully I won't be injured or feel it too much tomorrow :glare:. Funny how I'm about to do the same exact workout, however. :) Your comment about Ballet Beautiful has me grinning. I'm sure I'll notice it next time .
  3. Going for a swim soon. I love being in the water. I thought you liked them. I must have mistaken you for someone else. I've done them a few times and they were fine, but not my favorite. Then again, I'm not doing much ballet/barre at all these days. I also thought you liked Ballet Beautiful . I guess it must have been others on the VF forums. Sorry about your arm. :grouphug: I think I may be peri-menopausal also. I'm almost 47. I'm not sure if my low energy is from that alone. My blood pressure meds make me very sleepy also (not all day, just have a hard time waking up). I get very tired at night. Yes, you're right. The next few years will be a blast :glare:.
  4. Will soon do Joyce Vedral's Now or Never DVD - first time. :grouphug:
  5. I need to spend time looking at that list. I'm curious to see how many of those I've read. Just finished The Aviator's Wife - 4 Stars - This book is about Charles and Anne Lindbergh. Before reading this, I really did not know much about them at all (I read “Gift from the Sea†by Anne just over ten years ago). As I was reading, I found myself continuously going online to research Lindberghs. Melanie Benjamin does a great job with historical biographies. This is her second book that I’ve read and really enjoyed, the first one was Mrs. Tom Thumb. I look forward to reading more by her. MY RATING SYSTEM 5 Stars Fantastic, couldn't put it down 4 Stars Really Good 3 Stars Enjoyable 2 Stars Just Okay – nothing to write home about 1 Star Rubbish – waste of my money and time. Few books make it to this level, since I usually give up on them if they’re that bad.
  6. Woke up late, but it was nice to get lots of good-quality sleep. About to soon do Denise Austin: Hot Body Yoga. ETA: It was a very good workout. I only did the Yoga Sculpt this morning. I've done the Yoga Fit part before, but I prefer the Yoga Sculpt.
  7. I had short hair through most of the '80s (high school and part of college). My hair has been pretty much the same for the past 20 or so years - chin-shoulder-length. Yesterday I had about 3 inches cut off. Love that feeling. I usually go for trims regularly. Also, I had my hair relaxed and next week I'll have a keratin treatment. I do this about every 5-6 months. It helps a lot with my frizz. I'm usually a wash-and-go type - never blow dry, sometimes I use my CHI iron, but not very often. Love that cut!
  8. Will go swimming within the next hour or so. Can't wait. :)
  9. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
  10. I woke up super-early. Felt too tired to do anything. Went back to sleep and now it's too late to workout. Might try to swim later today. I did go swimming a few days ago and it was absolute heaven.
  11. Will soon do Joyce Vedral's Non-Stop Workout.
  12. About to soon do Joyce Vedral: Just Thighs & Arms.
  13. Thank you all again :). Your hair is lovely. Thank you for sharing your picture. This is very encouraging :). Yes, good products and regular trims are essential. Yes, I've been considering using straight henna rather than the one from Lush. I need to do some research. I'm only familiar with the Lush henna.
  14. About to soon do some Katy Bowmans (skeptical about them, since most have disappointed - I just want to check them off my list) and then as many Blogilates You Tube videos as I have time for - I'm still a beginner.
  15. Yes, so am I. Very surprised, actually. I miss reading Jan Brett books to my children. Love those. :grouphug:
  16. About to soon do 4 Miles of Leslie. Thank you, Stache and Kim. :grouphug:
  17. Thank you all so much for your wonderful replies :D. Not often at all. I only read about it and thought it was something I must have missed. Stacia, thank you :grouphug:. You would look lovely with gray hair also :). I'm at a a bit of a rut when it comes to style. Color: blue and pink sound like such fun. I also LOVE purple! The problem with purple is that dark hair like mine would need to be bleached first. Too many chemicals don't appeal to me. But I really love purple. I don't think it's the products that I'm using. I've switched to Pureology shampoo and conditioner and Argan Oil. My hair has just been getting more and more frizzy as I get older. The grays are obviously the most frizzy. I use a straightening iron for special occasions, but otherwise, I don't do much to it at all. Thanks for the link for the Argan Oil conditioner. Looking into it right now. :)
  18. I read The Winner - 1 Star - This was a very predictable book. I'm glad that I didn't pay money for it and picked it up in our hotel lobby. I had no sympathy for the protagonist and did not care much for her at all. This was one of the very rare instances, where I couldn't believe that I was actually rooting for the villain. I thought that was quite funny, since that's so unlike me. MY RATING SYSTEM 5 Stars Fantastic, couldn't put it down 4 Stars Really Good 3 Stars Enjoyable 2 Stars Just Okay – nothing to write home about 1 Star Rubbish – waste of my money and time. 19. Nothing for me today. I had computer issues and I need it in order to do pretty much most of my workouts. I was frustrated and couldn't be bothered. It's all fixed now, hopefully.
  20. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
